Returns Policy

At Royal Specs, we strive to ensure you’re complete satisfaction with our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward returns policy up to 30 days after the purchase date to make the process as easy as possible. Please read the following policy carefully.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Timeframe:

  • Lenses and frames will come with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, including issues with coatings, under normal use conditions.

Condition:

  • Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and tags intact.
  • Prescription lenses are custom-made and non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or error in the prescription.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards.
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance.
  • Custom or personalised items (excluding prescription lenses, which can be returned for manufacturing defects).

3. Return Process

1. Initiate a Return:

  • Contact our customer service team at help@staging.royalspecs.co.uk or 01908 064716 to initiate a return within 30 days of the purchase date. Please provide your order number and a brief explanation for the return.

2. Package Your Return:

  • Carefully package the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Ensure the order number is clearly marked on the outside of the package.

3. Ship Your Return:

  • Send the package to the address provided by our customer service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of the return.

4. Refunds

Processing Time:

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. This process typically takes 5-7 business days.

Refund Method:

  • Approved refunds will be processed and applied to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement. Payment processing fees are non-refundable in the event of an order cancellation or refund.

Shipping Costs:

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

5. Exchanges

Defective or Incorrect Items:

  • If you received a defective or incorrect item, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or provide a full refund, including any shipping costs incurred.

Exchanging for a Different Product:

  • To exchange an item for a different product, follow the return process to return the original item and place a new order for the desired product. Refunds for the original item will be processed according to our standard refund policy.
